I’m an office zombie by day, avid reader and book reviewer by night. I often haunt Twitter with an abundance of book related tweets, so apologies in advance! 

ABOUT THIS BLOG

Little Bookness Lane was officially released into the wild on 1st March 2015.

The main aim of this site is to showcase the wonderful books I have enjoyed reading. As a result this blog mostly consists of reviews for the books that are right up my street. Therefore any book that I would rate under 3 stars or DNF will not make an appearance (very rare).

MY PREFERRED GENRES

Luckily I love most fiction, but especially crime mysteries / thrillers. I also like historical fiction, plus I’ve been known to wander into the odd dystopian world on occasion. The only genre I’m not too keen on is romance, unless it has a very strong comedy / humour element.

WHERE I REVIEW

My reviews appear on this blog, Amazon UK (Top #1000 Reviewer), Goodreads, and NetGalley if applicable.

Sadly, I cannot accept every request I receive as it would be quite impossible to read them all. That’s not because I don’t want to, you understand. I prefer to commit to a strict review limit to ensure I’m not letting anyone down and to allow each book its own little ‘spotlight’ on the blog.

I’m happy to read hardback, paperback, or Mobi (Kindle). 

REVIEW ‘COPYRIGHT’

Where I have provided a review of book for an Author or Publisher it goes without saying that I’d be over the moon for those individuals to reproduce any part of it should they wish. All I would ask is for Little Bookness Lane to be credited wherever possible please (thank you).
